Why have I received a usage limit e-mail when my dashboard stats tell me I'm still within my allowance?

The stats we use to trigger our automated alert e-mails may be ahead of the stats we use for the "Account Stats" section of your dashboard. These e-mails are often sent out after your application receives an unexpected spike in traffic, and the dashboard will not reflect these spikes in traffic initially.

Concurrent Connections

When you log in to app.pusher.com, the stats you see for connections are in fact the average over a 24 hour period. As usage is typically much lower over the course of the day, this peak is averaged out and is not shown in your dashboard.

Plan limits are reset at 00:00 GMT.
